The Mirror King: A Battle for the Throne, a Fight for Survival

The Inundation has reshaped the world, leaving devastation in its wake. Princess Wilhelmina, once an orphaned criminal, now faces a new, even more perilous threat. Trapped by the Indigo Kingdom, she watches as her friends, the Ospreys, vanish into the ruins of the city. Despair hangs heavy as her most trusted ally falls, leaving her on the brink of defeat.

But Wilhelmina is not one to surrender. She must become Black Knife, the powerful sorceress she was born to be, and fight for her freedom, her friends, and her kingdom. Her magic, however, is a double-edged sword. The wraithland, a realm of shadows and sorrow, grants her immense power, but it also unleashes a terrifying consequence – a living boy crafted from wraith mist, a creature both deadly and devoted, bound to her will.

As Wilhelmina grapples with the responsibility of her burgeoning magic, she must also navigate the treacherous waters of politics. Claiming the throne means declaring war, a decision that could cost lives. Torn between duty and desire, she realizes that the crown may not be worth the price of peace. The wraith, a force of destruction long feared, is already consuming Indigo Kingdom villages, threatening to obliterate both kingdoms unless she can find a way to protect them.
