Justin Evans - The White Devil

The White Devil: Where Shadows Dance in the Halls of Harrow

Andrew Taylor, an outsider thrust into the elite world of Harrow, finds himself surrounded by the privileged sons of the rich and famous. The ancient building, steeped in history, whispers of a haunting presence. Rumors of "The Lot Ghost" swirl among the students, but Andrew, strikingly similar to Lord Byron, a former Harrow student, is initially dismissive. However, as the play he stars in nears, an unsettling dread begins to consume him. A classmate's tragic death shatters the facade of playful whispers, turning the haunting into a terrifying reality. Another student falls ill, and Andrew, driven by a growing sense of urgency, uncovers hidden letters in a bricked-up basement. The secrets within reveal a chilling history, linking the deaths to the haunting. Aided by Piers Fawkes, his housemaster, a once-celebrated poet now battling alcoholism, Andrew must unravel the mysteries buried within Harrow's hallowed halls. Time is running out. The White Devil, a malevolent force unleashed by past wrongs, is waiting to claim its next victim. The White Devil is a chilling ghost story that weaves together the mysteries of the past with the terrifying realities of the present. Justin Evans' masterful storytelling creates a haunting atmosphere that will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very last page.
